Blink once and you’ll miss Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum’s subtle PDA.
After making their red carpet debut at the Aug. 8 Los Angeles premiere of their new film Blink Twice, the pair stepped out in London on Aug. 19 for another glamorous date night. The couple were seen swooning over each other at the European premiere, with some photos capturing Zoë lovingly smiling at Channing while he posed for the cameras.
For the event, Zoë rocked a sleek red dress with a thin red belt around her waist, while Channing opted for a slick black suit and tie alongside film producers and fellow castmates, including Sue Kroll, Garret Levitz and Naomi Ackie.
But the premiere of the psychological thriller is extra meaningful to Channing and Zoë, who is officially making her directorial debut with the project. It also served as their meet cute back in 2021.
In fact, Channing recently revealed that he has his Logan Lucky costar Riley Keough to thank for accidentally playing matchmaker when she helped facilitate his casting in Zoë’s movie.
“I remember Riley Keough texted me,” he told E! News earlier this month. “She was like, ‘Hey, I have a friend that wants to send you something. Do you know Zoë Kravitz? I'm going to give you her number.’”
And the Big Little Lies alum was adamant about her pursuit of him.
“I approached him knowing he was the right person and just hoping that he would do it,” she told E! News in a separate interview. “He was asking me, ‘Why do you think I should play this role?’ He said, ‘No one really asks me to play roles like this.' And I said, ‘That's exactly why I'm doing it.’”
And it seems their work together produced more than just a great film.
“We were so in tune,” she continued. “We worked on this project together, developing the character for so long. There are some scenes that people will see that are just off the charts. He's so good in the film. I’m so proud of him.”
Channing—who popped the question last year—echoed her feelings about the bond they formed while working together.
“Our relationship was sort of born inside of the creative process,” he told E! News. “It didn't feel any different. That was what brought us together and made us really feel like we're very connected on what we love about life, what we love about just things in general about being alive.”
As for where Channing sees their relationship going from here? He said he’s found a “lifetime partner [for] a lifetime creative journey.”
Read on to see a recap of Zoë and Channing’s love story.
In a June 2021 interview with Deadline, Channing Tatum shared how honored he was that Zoë Kravitz thought to include him in her directorial debut, Pussy Island.
Amid rumblings of a romance, Tatum and Kravitz appeared to confirm their relationship status in Aug. 2021 with a sweet bike ride around New York City. "There's more than a friendship going on with Channing and Zoe," a source told E! News at the time. "They are spending a lot of time together and having fun. They are more than just close friends or co-stars. Their relationship has grown into more."
Though they initially posed separately on the 2021 Met Gala red carpet, the duo was photographed exiting the star-studded event together. Tatum even shared a photo with Kravitz on his Instagram Story from the after-party.
For their first Halloween together, the pair dressed up as Robert De Niro and Jodie Foster's characters from the film Taxi Driver.
During a chat with GQ, published in Nov. 2022, Kravitz said of Tatum, "He's just a wonderful human. He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do. We love to watch a film and break it down and talk about it and challenge each other."
After over two years of dating, multiple outlets confirmed that Kravitz and Tatum are engaged to be married.
