Kate Beckinsale may be providing some insight into her recent health problem.
The "Underworld" star, 50, shared photos of herself on Instagram Wednesday wearing a shirt that reads "tummy troubles survivor," just over a month after revealing she was in the hospital.
The photos, which show Beckinsale on a bed with her dog, set off speculation that her hospitalization may have been related to a stomach issue. In the caption, she posted emojis of a flexing arm and heart.
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Beckinsale for comment.
In March, Beckinsale celebrated Mother's Day in the U.K. by posting photos on Instagram of her mom and dogs, as well as pictures of herself in a hospital bed.
"Happy birthday and UK Mother's Day this last week to my incredible mother," she wrote at the time. "Thank you to those that love us and support us when it's (expletive) and try to make sure there are some bits that aren't. And for looking after our dogs when we can't, and lead us to remember happy things when we can't. And turn up when we are sick and sit with us. And send balloons and check in and pull us out of wells with love."

Beckinsale did not provide details about her health issue but shared additional photos from the hospital in the subsequent weeks.
The "Van Helsing" actress was previously hospitalized in 2019 due to a ruptured ovarian cyst, leading her to miss that year's Screen Actors Guild Awards.
"Turns out a ruptured ovarian cyst really hurts and morphine makes me cry," she posted on Instagram at the time, sharing a photo of herself in a hospital bed. "So thankful to everyone who looked after me."
But in a recent Instagram comment, Beckinsale clarified her recent hospitalization was not due to a ruptured cyst. "I didn't have a ruptured cyst since 2019," she told a fan, according to Us Weekly and People.

In 2021, Beckinsale also revealed she was hospitalized after hurting her back putting on a pair of leggings. "I was in my hotel room putting on a pair leggings and then it felt sort of like a guitar string snapped and everything was horrific, I mean worse than having a baby bad," she said on "The Late Late Show with James Corden."
"I couldn't sit or stand or do anything," she added, recalling that an ambulance came and rolled out a sheet to pick her up "like a sausage."
Fans took to the comments of Beckinsale's latest post to wish her well and express joy that she has apparently left the hospital. "Welcome back home Kate," one user wrote. "I'm glad you're finally better and recovered."
